By registering for or using the ing.ng Free Domains service ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
ing.ng provides free subdomain registration under the ing.ng
top-level domain. Users may register available subdomains for personal or
commercial use, subject to these terms. The Service is provided "as is"
without warranty of any kind.
Subdomains are registered for a period of up to 10 years. We reserve the right to set and modify registration periods, renewal policies, and domain limits at any time. Currently, each account may register up to 10 subdomains.
ing.ng is a subdomain of a .ng domain that we
register and operate under the rules of the Nigeria Internet Registration
Association (NiRA). A domain registration is a licensed privilege,
not absolute property. Accordingly, when you purchase a premium
subdomain you receive a lifetime, non-transferable license to use
that subdomain — for as long as we continue to operate ing.ng
as a registry — and not freehold ownership of the name.
"Lifetime" and "no renewal fees" mean we will not charge you a recurring
fee to keep the name. They are conditional on the continued operation and
registry status of the ing.ng apex domain. If the apex domain
ceases to be available to us (for example, through a change in NiRA policy,
a registry action, or events beyond our reasonable control), or if you
breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, the
license may end. Premium names that match third-party trademarks, government
or regulatory bodies, or financial institutions are not offered for sale and
may be reclaimed if mistakenly issued or subject to a dispute (including under
the NiRA Dispute Resolution Policy). To the maximum extent permitted by law,
a one-time premium payment is for the license described above and is
non-refundable once the name is activated.
All users must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your subdomain and account.
If you believe a subdomain is being used for illegal or abusive purposes, please report it via our abuse reporting form or email [email protected].
ing.ng shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the use of the Service. In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount paid by you (if any) for the Service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account or subdomain at our sole discretion, with or without cause, and with or without notice.
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
