Deleting your ing.ng account

You can permanently delete your ing.ng account and all associated data at any time, directly from the app. This page explains how, and exactly what happens to your data.

How to delete your account

1. Log in to your account at ing.ng/auth/login.
2. Open Settings (your profile / account settings).
3. Scroll to Delete account and click it.
4. Confirm in the dialog that you understand the action is permanent.

Deletion takes effect immediately. If you cannot log in, or would prefer we do it for you, email [email protected] from your registered address and we will delete your account within 30 days.

What is deleted

The following are permanently deleted immediately:

• Your personal details — email, name, phone, and address.
• Your .ing.ng name(s), which are released back to the public pool and become available for anyone to claim.
• Your link-in-bio pages, pay links, wallet addresses, DNS/text records, notifications, API keys, and webhooks.
• Your domain search history (names you checked or searched).
• Your login credentials — the account can no longer be accessed.

What we keep, and for how long

To meet legal, tax, and fraud-prevention obligations we retain a limited set of transaction and security records — for example payment receipts and basic audit logs of account and payment activity. These are kept for a standard retention period of approximately six (6) months, after which they are permanently deleted. We do not sell your data, and we never use retained records for advertising.
